The tamariki are working alongside Grandma Daz to create their wearable arts costumes.  They are showing resilience and perseverance by learning new skills and creating their costume.

Our tamariki enjoy being at our marae, they are able to set up the marae for manuhiri as well as demonstrate tikanga for powhiri.  

Our tamariki know that it is important that they acknowledge their wairua.  They can share activities that are important for their wairua.  The tamariki share when their wairua is pouri and they know how they can brighten it.  Whāriki (our pet sheep) helps to lift their wairua.

The pōwhakangahau o te Matariki was an opportunity for our tamariki to share their individual google sites with their whanau.  Their google sites of the tamariki has their learning information and also has their evidence of their learning.
